Enjoy sweet success and sweet fruits with this productive persimmon. Chocolate Persimmon bears fruits at a young age, so you'll enjoy deep orange fruits with sweet, chocolate-colored flesh sooner! The non-astringent fruits are tasty eaten fresh, baked into desserts and more. Growing 20-25 ft. tall, the tree is very ornamental. Foliage emerges lime green in the spring, turns dark green in the summer and orange in the fall. Fruits ripen in late October to early November. Requires less than 200 chill hours. Tolerant of heat and humidity. Zones 7-10.

Bears at a young age and is very productive. Not only is its fruit sweet and delicious, but it also adds ornamental value to the landscape with its brilliant orange fall foliage. Requires less than 200 chill hours. Tolerant of heat and humidity.
