Great Lakes Hardneck Garlic

A great-tasting garlic to spice up your recipes. Bulbs have a complex flavor with just the right amount of heat, not too hot nor to mild. A hardneck variety, it produces high yields of bulbs with silky white skins that have occasional red flecks. Like other hardneck garlic varieties, Great Lakes Garlic performs best in cooler climates and when planted in the fall. In the late spring, it produces scapes which are valued for flavoring recipes and also are great additions to floral arrangements. This garlic is easy to grow—just plant in well-drained soil and in a sunny location. Approx. 5-8 cloves per bulb.
