Whether it's the vibrant color or the funnel-shaped blooms, one thing is for sure, hummingbirds love this vine! Blooms from midsummer to frost in full sun. Will climb 20-30 ft. long if given a suitable support. Potted.

If pruning is needed on the plant, do it in winter or early spring, then allow new growth to be undisturbed to get the trumpet vine blooming.
  • CommentsMix peat moss, compost or well-rotted manure into the soil to help improve drainage. Cut shoots that bore flowers every Fall. Cut back lateral growth to 2 - 3 buds in late Fall. Leaves and flowers may cause dermatitis if handled. Attracts hummingbirds. Clinging vine that is excellent for use on any rough surface such as brick, wood or a telephone pole.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August.
